Functional Head

Ishtar is the Functional Head of Choi Kai Yau College.

Born and grew up in Macau, received her bachelor‟s degree in English (Business Studies) from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in 2006 and obtained her Master‟s degree in Education Science in the University of Saint Joseph in 2011. Before joining the UM (University of Macau) family, Ishtar worked in MICE industry for eight years and specialized in event management. She is now the administrative staff of Choi Kai Yau College.

Ishtar loves writing, reading, and volleyball. She had her maiden novel “Story No.5” published in 2012, while her second novel, “Story No.12 – Phoenix”, was exhibited in the Hong Kong Book Fair 2014, where she also held a sharing session. In addition, one of her masterpieces, “小友子‧心靈花火‧墨卡奧小城”, won the Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen Award for children’s literature in Chinese.

Rainie graduated from University of Macau with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration majoring Financial Controllership. During her university life in UM, she was the PR Student Ambassador, which mainly assisted to provide the Guided Campus Tour service to the guest who visit UM. She joined Choi Kai Yau College after graduated.

She likes drawing, reading and listening music. She also enjoys being a volunteer because she thinks that “It is more blessed to give than to receive”.

Administrative Assistant

Sandia graduated her bachelor degree at Manchester Metropolitan University, majoring in Leisure and Sports Management. Before joining the UM (University of Macau) family, She has worked at the front office at the World’s largest Sheraton, Sheraton Macau and also Macau University of Science and Technology.

She enjoys travelling and chill out with people from different places. Furthermore, she likes listening to music and watching sports competition, especially volleyball and basketball.
